ABSTRACT

A project is outlined aimed at creating an energy future that is more sustainable than the current situation. Sustainability is the result of reducing the use of non-renewable resources by promoting regenerative energy production, increasing energy efficiency, and changing consumer behavior. The prerequisites for change in the prevailing energy paradigm are presented as well as for a new energy management that builds on changes in use and consumer habits. The aim is a proposal for a sustainable integration of energy supply and use to support ex-post-situations of contemporary world heritage sites.
